Ontario reopened the provincial nomination, the quota was swept away in less than half an hour

To say that the province with the largest number of foreign students in Canada is Ontario.

According to statistics from the Bureau of Statistics, the number of international students in Canada exceeds 600,000, of which 300,000 are in Ontario. Due to the fierce competition, this year's immigration channel for foreign students in Ontario was all robbed within half an hour of opening the application!

According to CIC News, the Ontario Immigration Nomination Program (OINP) opened the application channel for international students on August 19, and it was originally scheduled to open between 9 am and 5 pm. What I did not expect was that the provincial nomination plan opened at 10:00 am and closed at 10:25. It only took 25 minutes for the whole process to open, and all the places were robbed.

OINP of Ontario stated in the media conference: "It is expected that a large number of users will log in to the system at the same time, so they may encounter problems such as system crashes. If this happens, it is not a technical error, and there is no need to contact the programmer. ."

Ontario Provincial Nominees are divided into three categories: Human Capital, Business and Employer Job Offer. The international student category opened today is one of the employers category.

In order to attract more international students to study in Canadian universities and colleges, and attract more young people to immigrate, the Ontario Provincial Nominee Program specifically includes the "International Student Category." The position must be an occupation classified as 0, A, and B according to the Canadian National Occupation Classification. In addition, the applicant must obtain a diploma from a full-time educational institution in Canada.

Compared with the current EE immigrants with high scores, the threshold of provincial nomination is lower, so they were swept away as soon as they opened!
